On August 23rd, Land Tajas and Crystal Lagoon hosted the grand opening of the first 2-acre, environmentally friendly lagoon in the state.
For Humble residents, the long-awaited man made crystalline lagoon finally opened. And we got to celebrate with the Balmoral community! The lagoon is almost the size of two football fields and includes two white sandy beaches, cabanas for lounging, a “kid’s cove”, paddle boards, and a volleyball court.
The first Crystal Lagoons in the United States is located in Tampa, Florida, which opened in early 2018. As of now, Crystal Lagoons have many ongoing plans across the country to open multiple amenities.
Crystal Lagoons uses leading industry technology that conserves lagoon water for a better impact on the environment. Michael Phelps, the most decorated Olympic athlete, also attended the opening event as Crystal Lagoon’s world ambassador.
