Beat the Blues Event

On December 3rd, 2014, press, media and guests came out to our first annual “Beat the Blues” benefiting the Crisis Intervention of Houston, hosted at the House of Blues right in the heart of downtown.

The Crisis Intervention of Houston is a nonprofit organization that aims to help people in crisis. They operate free and confidential hotlines, 24 hours 7 days a week, as well as organize numerous groups and programs for suicide prevention/intervention.

Around the holidays, calls to the Crisis Intervention hotline doubles, more so than any other time of the year. But no matter the time of year, it is important to raise awareness about these issues and how many people they affect.

For our event, we held a raffle and live fashion show where guests could bid on local fashion designers’ creative pieces, all proceeds benefiting and furthering the cause of the Crisis Intervention of Houston.

Houston photographer Pixel Studio Productions provided photography, Videography and Slow Motion Video Booth for the Event coordinated by Piper & Muse. Music By Dj Indo Raj.

We also were honored with the presence of a few different special guests, including Jared Lang, founder and director of Fashion Houston, and also comedian Raj Sharma.

Overall, we are proud to say the event was a success, a mixture of a fun evening and also a rewarding and beneficial cause.
