What are the ERAS photo requirements?
AAMC asks for one thing: a photo 2.5 × 3.5 inches at 150 dpi, that’s 375 × 525 pixels, in a file under 150 KB, uploaded by you in the MyERAS portal. That’s the entire official specification. Everything else you’ve read grey background, white coat, closed-mouth smile is convention, not requirement. Book your session
Individuals: call or text (832) 767-1543, or book online, we shoot Monday to Friday 10 to 6 and Saturday 10 to 3. Programs: send a headcount for a group quote with volume pricing for 5+.
Scheduling coordination
For cohorts, we build a time-slot schedule around rounds and clinic hours so each resident is done in 10 to 15 minutes.
On-site setup and shoot
We bring the full studio, lights, backdrop, tethered previews, to your hospital or program, or you come to us in Rice Village.
Editing

Do I need to resize my photo before uploading to MyERAS?
No. We deliver your photo already sized to 2.5 × 3.5 inches at 150 dpi, 375 × 525 pixels, under the 150 KB file limit. You upload it to MyERAS as-is.
When should I book my ERAS headshot?
Applications open in September, and the six weeks before that are our busiest ERAS stretch. Book in June or July and you’ll have your photo long before the deadline crunch. Booking late? Same day delivery means even a last-minute session works.
How much does an ERAS headshot cost?
$150 for a 30-minute individual session with same-day delivery. Residency programs booking a cohort
are quoted by headcount, with volume pricing for groups of 5 or more.
Should I wear my white coat?
Most applicants shoot in professional attire without the coat, since that’s the standard on ERAS. If you want a white coat version too, bring it! We do not have white coats on hand. We’ll shoot both looks in your session at no extra charge.
How fast will I get my photo?
Same day. You pick your favorite during the session, we edit it while you’re here, and you walk out with an upload-ready file.
