We get it, so we keep it simple: you come to our Rice Village studio (2414 Sunset Blvd,minutes from the Texas Medical Center and Downtown), we talk for a minute about how you’ll use the photos, we shoot for 30 minutes with real posing direction, and you leave with finished, retouched images the same day. THE PRE-SHOOT CONSULTATION
Before we pick up a camera we spend a couple of minutes on how you'll use the photo, what you brought to wear, and what you want it to say about you. If you brought two options we'll help you choose. This is also where you tell us what you don't like about photos of yourself, which is more useful than it sounds, it tells us what to watch for.
THE SHOOT
Thirty minutes, with real posing direction the whole way. You won't be left standing there wondering what to do with your hands. We shoot tethered so the images come up on a screen as we go, which means you can see what's working instead of hoping. Most people relax about five minutes in, and those are the frames we usually end up using.
SAME-DAY DELIVERY
You pick your favorites during the session, on the screen, with us. We retouch while you wait and you leave with the finished, high-resolution files, not previews, not a gallery link in two weeks. Sized and ready for LinkedIn, your company directory, or MyERAS.

Solid colors, no busy patterns. Bring a second option and we can help you decide. Our bigger package also offers wardrobe changes if you can’t pick just one!
Busy patterns, tight stripes and small checks they buzz on camera. Logos and slogans, unless it’s your own company. Pure white and pure black, which lose all their detail. Anything shiny or heavily wrinkled. Bright neon, which reflects onto your skin and turns it green. If you’re unsure, bring two options and we’ll tell you which one photographs better.
Usually yes, but it depends what the photo is for. Corporate and LinkedIn headshots do better with a warm, natural smile people hire people who look approachable. ERAS and medical residency photos are more conservative, so a closed-mouth smile is the convention. Actors often want a range, from neutral to open. We shoot several expressions either way, so you’re not locked into a decision made in the first minute.
Get a decent night’s sleep, drink water, and don’t get a haircut the day before give it a few days to settle. Bring your top on a hanger rather than wearing it in the car. If you wear makeup, go slightly heavier than normal, because cameras flatten it. Bring a second outfit. That’s genuinely the whole list.

We’re at 2414 Sunset Blvd, and parking is free in our own lot. In Rice Village that is not a given, so it’s worth knowing before you plan your morning.

Extended 60-minute sessions include multiple outfit changes, background options, and 3 fully retouched final images. Team bookings are quoted by headcount. We bring the studio to your office, set up in a spare conference room, and photograph everyone in a single day with consistent lighting, background and retouching across the whole team, so your directory does not look like it was assembled from twelve different sources. We have photographed executives, physicians, attorneys, real estate agents, actors and full corporate teams across Houston since 2012. The studio is minutes from the Texas Medical Center and Downtown, which is why medical residents make up a large share of what we shoot between June and September.
