Headshot pricing in Houston runs from about $50 at a self-service photo pod to $500 or more for an executive portrait session. Most professionals land somewhere in the middle, and most of them are asking the same three questions: what does it cost, what do I actually get, and is it worth paying for. This page answers all three with our real prices. Nothing here requires a quote unless you’re booking a team.

For companies, the per-person price drops as the headcount grows, and everyone gets the same lighting, background and retouching so your team page looks like one session.
On-site days include setup, a photographer for the agreed hours, 10–15 minutes per person, same-week delivery of the full batch, and a makeup date at the studio for anyone who was out that day, photographed to match. Travel inside Beltway 8 is included. Send us a headcount and we’ll return a written quote within one business day.
In Houston, a competent professional headshot from a dedicated studio costs $125 to $250 for an individual session. Below that range you’re usually looking at a self-service booth, a mall studio or a photographer who does headshots occasionally. Above it, you’re paying for an executive portrait session with more time, more looks and more retouching, which is the right choice for a CEO’s press photo and overkill for a LinkedIn profile.
Our $150 sits in the middle of that range on purpose: enough time to get it right, same-day delivery, and a photographer whose main job is headshots.
If the photo is going on LinkedIn, a company website, a bio or a proposal, yes. It is the first thing a client, recruiter or patient sees, and studies of LinkedIn profiles consistently show professional photos get more views and messages than phone snapshots. A $150 session that lasts three to five years costs less than most people spend on business cards.
If you only need a photo for an internal badge, a phone photo against a plain wall is fine, and we’ll tell you that.
AI headshot generators produce a plausible image for $20 to $40. They also produce a face that isn’t quite yours, in clothes you’ve never worn, and colleagues can usually tell. For a real profile, a real photo still wins. Our guide to where to get headshots in Houston compares studios, on-site days, self-service pods and AI honestly.
